I know it might seems as though in times like this people should just take what ever they can get but with the collective power of the people we’re really hoping to get these items new for Lauren so she can have a completely new start to life once she settles in. We also don’t have the capacity to launder items and Lauren won’t have a washing machine for about three weeks.
We have secured a private rental for Lauren and her children and paid the bond and 4 weeks rent in advance. She is able to receive a fridge/freezer, washing machine and TV from another organisation but they will take 3 weeks to arrive. She has beds and a lounge and dining table. We’ll be getting her a new microwave and and assisting with moving costs.
Lauren needs the following. The best way to get them to her is to drop them at our shop The Kala Space 50 Lygon Street Brunswick East, donate Kmart/Target vouchers or go online and do a click and drop to our address.

Canisters tea,coffee, sugar
Setting up house takes a lot more than we realise until we need to do it in a hurry so Lauren still needs our support.
We’re at the final stages now and we hope we can have Lauren and her family settled into their new home well and truly before school starts 🙏
